WINTER FUTSAL

 REGISTRATION IS CURRENTLY FULL IN THE FOLLOWING VB FUTSAL ACADEMY AGE GROUPS:

2014/2015 Coed; 2012/2013 Boys; 2010/2011 Boys; 2010/2011 Girls.

Beach FC is pleased to announce the VB Futsal Winter training program for the Winter 2022-2023 season.

NOTE - Due to limited time and space over the winter, VB Futsal will not be able to accept everyone wishing to participate in Winter Futsal.  

The U8-U19 (2014-2003) training program will feature a comprehensive futsal curriculum that will improve a player’s technical and tactical ability in a small-sided environment. Futsal players operate in tighter spaces which requires increased ball skills and quicker decision making. Some of the most creative soccer players in world football have grown up playing futsal.

The program will run from December to February and will consist of 12 one-hour training sessions. Each team will have a futsal qualified coach for practices and games. Roster size of 8-9 players per team.

Winter Futsal is split into two programs:

• VB Futsal Academy - this is an 'Open' program. Due to limited space, preference will be given to players who have participated in futsal over the course of a year. VB Futsal Academy DOES NOT include Futsal 5s.
• VB Futsal Select - this is an 'Invite-only' program. VB Futsal Select INCLUDES particpation in Futsal 5s and the opportunity to be part of the United Futsal event in Raleigh, NC January 6-8, 2023.

Location

All training and games will be at the Studio Center Futsal Arena which features 2 ‘futsal-only’ courts in a climate controlled facility. There is no other facility in the region that can boast futsal specific courts like the Studio Center Futsal Arena.

Dates and Times

TRAINING SCHEDULE

5 one-hour sessions prior to Christmas.

1 one-hour session per week after Christmas until Futsal 5s ends.

Training sessions start the week of Nov. 30 and run to the week of Feb. 14.

There will be no sessions the week of Dec. 20, Dec. 27 and Jan. 31.

Futsal 5s consists of 8 futsal games that will be played between Dec. 10 and Feb. 21.

Cost per player :

VB Futsal Academy - $250.00/player (training only)

VB Futsal Select - $375.00/player (includes Futsal 5s)

Futsal 5s Winter League registration (VB Futsal Select players only)

VB Futsal training shirt
