What is a VB Futsal Select tryout?

This is a tryout for a VB Futsal Select team that will train with a Futsal coach from December - February (15 hours of training). Teams may participate in the Eastern Regional Championships and Futsal 5s league.

Players may be invited to a CCS or Showcase team. CCS teams are the top teams in each age group whereas Showcase teams are the 2nd teams.

As a privileged member of United Futsal Champions Cup Series (CCS), VB Futsal Select teams will compete in up to three prestigious futsal events in each calendar year.

Showcase Series Nationals (SHOWCASE TEAMS) - Orlando, FL - July 2025

We will attempt to build 2 teams (CCS and Showcase) in each of the foillowing age groups:

We understand that a player may have a conflict with the tryout. The coach of each team will manage any supplemental tryouts at the team level. You MUST be registered for tryouts to be considered for a team regardless of whether you are able to attend or not. Please email vbfutsal@beachfc.com if you have registered but are unable to attend the scheduled tryout.

Are players from outside Beach FC allowed to join the VB Futsal Select?

YES. Players from outside Beach FC are allowed to participate in any VB Futsal program.

What if I want to tryout and participate in the Select program but do not want to participate in the Greensboro, NC tournament?

This is not an option. By accepting their position on VB Futsal Select, players are committed to training and attending the Eastern Region Futsal Championships in Greensboro, NC (Jan. 4-5, 2025).

What is the difference between the CCS and Showcase team?

The CCS team is the top team in an age group (or double age group).

The Showcase team is the 2nd team.

Is there a VB Futsal Select uniform?

YES. NEW FOR 2024/2025. If selected for a VB Futsal CCS or Showcase team, you will receive a link to Soccer.com to purchase your home and away VB Futsal jerseys that will be used for training and games.

What if my child does not get accepted into the Winter VB Futsal Select program?

Unfortunately, due to the popularity of futsal and limited time and space in the futsal facility, we are not able to accept everyone into the VB Futsal Select program. We highly recommend our VB Futsal Academy program to work on those futsal skills over the winter.
